Who is YMCA?

YMCA is a charity dedicated to helping young people find their place in the world. Every day, thousands face challenges like homelessness, loneliness and poor mental health — and we’re here to change that.


Through housing, counselling, training and community programmes, YMCA offers more than just support. We give young people a safe space to belong, the skills to grow, and the confidence to shape their future.


Our work is rooted in local communities across England and Wales, so wherever a young person turns to us, they find trusted adults, welcoming spaces and opportunities that meet their needs.


With the right help around them, young people can discover who they are, what they can achieve, and feel empowered to live independent, fulfilling lives.

12,000 young people a safe place to stay

Without a place to stay, it’s hard to find your place in the world. And right now, thousands of young people are facing homelessness, loneliness and isolation.


Through YMCA RoomSponsor, we provide support to more than 12,000 young people staying with YMCA, including life skills training, counselling, and education and employment opportunities.


Young people also benefit from having a trusted adult to turn to when life feels overwhelming, and the chance to build positive routines that prepare them for the future.


With this wrap-around support they can rebuild their confidence, feel part of a community, and take steps towards living independent and fulfilling lives.

When will I receive my YMCA trolley keyring?

Once we've spoken to you and confirmed your details, your pack will be sent within 10 to 15 working days via Royal Mail 2nd Class.

When will I receive a call?

We aim to contact you as soon as possible during normal working hours (Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm).

What number will you call me from?
We’ll call you from 01952 951 245. Please keep an eye out for that number.
How many times will you try to call me?

We’ll try up to five times. If we can’t get through, we won’t be able to send your YMCA trolley keyring.

Why do I need to speak to someone on the phone?
We need to confirm your address over the phone to make sure your pack reaches you safely. We’re unable to accept addresses by email, text, or social media.
Will I receive emails too?
Yes - while we try to reach you by phone, we’ll also send up to four emails from noreply@ymcaroomsponsor.org to keep you updated and remind you about our call.
Will my trolley keyring work at all UK supermarkets?
This keyring is compatible with many supermarkets across the UK, but not all of them. We hope you still like the unique keyring design and would like to order one to raise awareness about the YMCA’s work.
